
Florida Hunting Regulations:
The highly anticipated spring turkey season runs the third weekend in March through the third weekend in April. The 2012 season will run March 17 - April 22. Hunters may take bearded turkey or gobblers only and the daily bag limit is one. A second bird per hunt may be purchased, depending on availability, but prior arrangements must be made. The season's possession limit of turkey is two in Levy County. Hogs are plentiful and are included in the package price.
Hunting License Requirements:
You will need a Florida hunting license. Residents pay $17.00, and non-residents have the choice of paying $46.50 for a 10 day license or $151.50 for 12 months.
Additionally, you will need to purchase a turkey permit. For Florida residents, that cost is $10.00. For out of state hunters seeking an Osceola to complete their "Grand Slam", the permit costs $125.00. For additonal details visit www.myfwc.com/hunting
Pricing:
Pricing for a 2 and one half day hunt is $1,500. Food and lodging is included. Three hunters maximum. Also, included are hogs at no additional cost. Additional turkey $250. Non-hunting guests $100. A 50% deposit will be due to reserve your hunt. Hunts will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.
